Is Cal-C-Vita® safe to take every day?
Yes, provided it is taken as indicated in the instructions.
Is Cal-C-Vita® suitable for diabetics?
Cal-C-Vita® Effervescent Tablets are sugar-free – they contain less than 0.5g sugar when dissolved in a 100ml glass of water. On average, each effervescent tablet contains around 0.08g of sugar.
Cal-C-Vita® Combo Effervescent Tablets are sugar-free – they contain less than 0.5g sugar when dissolved in a 100ml glass of water. On average, each effervescent tablet contains around 0.036g of sugar.
We have no specific recommendations regarding the suitability of Cal-C-Vita® for individuals with diabetes and we suggest you speak with your GP or another healthcare professional to get further advice.
What does NRV mean?
NRV stands for Nutritional Reference Value (this used to be called RDA which stands for Recommended Daily Allowance). This is the daily amount of a vitamin or mineral that the average healthy person needs to maintain good health. The % NRV in a food supplement tells you how much of a vitamin or mineral's NRV you get from each dose of the supplement
Can I take Cal-C-Vita® during pregnancy or lactation?
During pregnancy and lactation taking Cal-C-Vita® Combo & Cal-C-Vita® is not recommended. A healthcare professional should be consulted before use.
Can children take Cal-C-Vita®?
Cal-C-Vita® Effervescent Tablets are suitable for children over the age of 4 years old. Cal-C-Vita® Combo Effervescent Tablets are suitable for children over 12 years. Cal-C-Vita® Combo Effervescent Tablets are not intended for use in children under 12 years. Please take as indicated in the instructions.
Is Cal-C-Vita® suitable for vegetarians?
Cal-C-Vita® Combo Effervescent Tablets are suitable for vegetarians but Cal-C-Vita are not.
Does Cal-C-Vita® contain wheat, yeast or lactose?
Cal-C-Vita® is free from lactose, wheat and yeast.
